Christchurch Airport is set to significantly enhance its air freight capabilities by partnering with Fulton Hogan to expand its freight aircraft parking area. The project will enlarge the freight apron to the size of six football fields, enabling it to accommodate up to eight smaller 737-sized aircraft or four larger 757 widebody aircraft, a substantial increase from its current capacity of three aircraft.
