In Uttar Pradesh, two road projects overseen by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) are anticipated to significantly improve freight movement and offer better access to economic zones. The Prayagraj-Jaunpur-Azamgarh-Dohrighat-Gorakhpur Road, along with the Ghazipur-Syed Raja Road Section, will play a pivotal role in enhancing regional connectivity. These projects are set to link to the Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor, local railways, and Lal Bahadur Shastri Airport, thereby streamlining the logistics chain and boosting economic activity in the region.
Similarly, in Jharkhand, the Koderma-Arigada and Shivpur-Kathautia Rail Lines are aimed at doubling the nation’s coal transport capacity through significant expansion efforts.
